Description
We are offering a contract employment opportunity for a detail-oriented Billing Clerk in the IT software industry located in Atlanta, Georgia. The role involves handling accounts receivable and billing operations, as well as various responsibilities related to invoices, payments, collections, and troubleshooting of any related issues.
Responsibilities:
• Generate and send out invoices and account statements accurately and promptly.
• Perform routine duties related to invoice processing, payment, collections, and revenue recognition.
• Process and monitor incoming payments and secure revenue by verifying and posting receipts.
• Ensure customers are billed correctly for services offered, resolving any billing complaints, issues, or discrepancies.
• Assist with month-end closing and auditing procedures.
• Maintain accurate records and support audit efforts.
• Collaborate with other team members to meet financial and company objectives.
• Use accounting software systems and Microsoft Office Suites to efficiently perform accounting and billing functions.
• Administer claim processes and provide excellent customer service to resolve credit inquiries.
Requirements • Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems
• Knowledge of ADP - Financial Services
• Familiarity with IBM AS/400
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suites
• Understanding of Accounting Functions
• Experience with Billing Functions
• Ability to handle Claim Administration
• Knowledge of Collection Processes
• Exceptional Customer Service skills
