Description
Are you an experienced paralegal with a strong background in commercial real estate investment and property management? Our client, a growing real estate investment firm, is seeking a Real Estate Paralegal to join their dynamic team. In this role, you will provide essential legal and administrative support, helping to manage key functions such as acquisitions, leasing, and property administration.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage due diligence for acquisitions, including coordination and oversight of documents.
Draft and review basic lease documents, acquisition agreements, and vendor contracts.
Administer leases, manage tenant billing, and maintain tenant files.
Abstract leases and contracts, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
Maintain corporate records and registrations, including Georgia Secretary of State filings.
Manage real estate license registrations and ensure timely renewals.
Prepare and submit lease commission invoices.
Coordinate with asset managers and third-party consultants on property tax payments.
Oversee the insurance process in collaboration with asset managers and third-party insurance brokers.
Requirements
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree required.
Paralegal certificate is preferred.
A minimum of 5 years of experience in a law firm or in-house setting, with a focus on commercial real estate investment and property management.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Familiarity with Yardi software is highly preferred.
