Communications Coordinator - Retail Marketing (Atlanta)

We're seeking a talented Communications Coordinator to join our dynamic in-house marketing team and support our esteemed retail client. In this role, you'll play a key part in developing and executing strategic communication initiatives that drive brand awareness and customer engagement.
What you'll do:
Craft compelling press releases, media pitches, and other written content
Manage social media channels, creating engaging content calendars and posts
Assist with developing and implementing communication strategies for marketing campaigns
Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure clear and consistent messaging
Monitor brand reputation and media coverage
Support with event planning and execution (as needed)
Requirements
What you bring to the table:
1-2 years of experience in communications, marketing, or a related field
Bachelor's degree in communications, marketing, journalism, or a relevant field (preferred)
Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Proficient in social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, etc.)
Experience with project management tools (Asana, Trello, etc.) a plus
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
Detail-oriented and organized, with a keen eye for accuracy
3 days a week on-site presence in Atlanta required
