Robert Half Data Entry Clerk in Atlanta, Georgia

Description

We are offering a contract to permanent employment opportunity for a Data Entry Clerk in the construction/contractor industry, based in Atlanta, Georgia (30339). In this role, the Data Entry Clerk will be primarily tasked with managing and maintaining accurate data in our company databases, ensuring the confidentiality and security of sensitive information, and providing support for data-related queries.

Responsibilities:

• Accurately input and update data into the company databases, spreadsheets, and other systems.

• Cross-verify information from various sources to maintain data accuracy.

• Manage both physical and electronic filing systems.

• Identify and rectify any data errors or discrepancies in source documents.

• Retrieve and process data from multiple platforms as required.

• Strictly maintain the confidentiality and security of all sensitive data.

• Conduct regular backups to ensure data preservation.

• Respond to and provide support for data-related queries.

• Prepare documents for data entry, ensuring all required fields are completed.

• Assist in the generation of reports, summaries, and documentation for management review.

• Collaborate with other departments to ensure data consistency and process improvements.

Requirements • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word

• Excellent customer service skills

• Experience in data entry

• Ability to communicate effectively via email correspondence

• Strong organizational skills, particularly with regards to file management

• Capable of accurately performing calculations

• Familiarity with scanning documents

• Superior typing skills

• Prior experience in the construction or contractor industry is a plus, but not mandatory

• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously

• Attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to make decisions based on data

• High school diploma or equivalent qualification required

• Willingness to learn and adapt to new systems and software as necessary

• Excellent time management skills and ability to meet deadlines.
