Robert Half Desktop Support Field Technician in Atlanta, Georgia

Description

We are offering an opportunity for a Desktop Support Analyst within the local government sector in Atlanta, Georgia. This role involves providing field technical support to approximately 400 users. You will be responsible for break/fix solutions, application support, and the administration of Office 365. The work environment includes a mix of Microsoft and Mac systems, with iPhones being the standard mobile device and iPads being heavily used by certain departments.

Responsibilities:

• Providing field technical support to users, resolving issues efficiently and effectively.

• Performing break/fix solutions to ensure minimal downtime and maintain productivity.

• Supporting various applications used within the local government sector.

• Administering Office 365, ensuring optimal usage and resolving any related issues.

• Working in an environment that uses a mix of Microsoft and Mac systems, providing support for both.

• Managing iPhones and iPads, addressing any technical issues and providing user assistance as needed.

• Using MaaS 360 MDM tool for mobile device management.

• Utilizing Kaseya ticketing system to record, track, and resolve tickets.

• Deploying and configuring new hardware and software as needed.

• Providing deskside support, assisting users directly with their technical issues.

Skills:

• Experience with Citrix and Dell Technologies.

• Knowledge of EO/IR systems.

• Proficiency in using Mac Computers.

• Familiarity with Microsoft suite of products and Active Directory.

• Ability to handle computer hardware issues.

• Experience in Configuration Management.

• Experience in deploying new hardware and software.

• Ability to provide effective deskside support.

Requirements • Must possess knowledge and experience in Citrix Technologies

• Experience with Dell Technologies is required

• Understanding and proficiency in EO/IR systems is necessary

• Ability to manage and troubleshoot issues on Mac Computers

• Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Suite and its applications

• Must have experience in working with Active Directory

• Familiarity with Computer Hardware and its components

• Experience in Configuration Management is required

• Must have experience in Deployments within a local government setting
