Robert Half Director of Accounting in Atlanta, Georgia
Description We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Director of Accounting in our IT Consulting sector located in Atlanta, Georgia. In this role, you will be tasked with managing customer accounts, processing applications, and maintaining accurate records, while using a variety of accounting software systems and services.
Responsibilities:
• Manage and oversee all accounting functions, including Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR).
• Utilize Accounting Software Systems and other financial services such as ADP, BlackLine, and Concur for efficient account management.
• Regularly audit accounting records to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Manage customer credit applications, process them efficiently, and accurately.
• Maintain accurate records of customer credit.
• Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate action based on account status.
• Oversee budget processes and ensure they align with organizational objectives.
• Use CRM and SAAS - Software As A Service for efficient customer relationship management. Requirements • A minimum of 10 years of experience in the field of accounting, preferably within the IT consulting industry.
• Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems to streamline and automate financial management.
• Experience with ADP - Financial Services to manage payroll, HR services, and other related tasks.
• Knowledge of BlackLine for automated financial close operations.
• Familiarity with Concur for expense, travel, and invoice management.
• Experience using CRM systems for maintaining and managing customer relations.
• Strong understanding of accounting functions, including financial reporting and regulatory compliance.
• Expertise in managing Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) functions.
• Proven experience in auditing, ensuring accuracy and compliance with established accounting standards and regulations.
• Adept at managing budget processes, including planning, forecasting, and analysis.
• Experience with SAAS - Software As A Service, to manage and integrate software applications.
