We are offering an opportunity for a Global Events Director with a Fortune 500 company based in Atlanta, Georgia. This role will focus on managing multiple events, collaborating with various teams, and ensuring effective execution of event projects. The position requires an individual skilled in project leadership, event planning, and managing relationships with hotels and other agencies. This role offers a very long term contract employment opportunity.

Responsibilities:

• Manage multiple events from inception to completion.

• Work closely with the sourcing team to handle hotel contracts, assess event spaces, and find the right resources.

• Lead 15-20 projects at a time, varying in scale.

• Collaborate with global teams to set up events specific to their needs.

• Work with hotels and agencies for larger pieces of the events.

• Plan and host council meetings multiple times a year.

• Utilize various platforms such as CRM, Database, EO/IR systems, Facebook Insights, Instagram for event management and promotion.

• Develop and execute marketing events to increase brand awareness.

• Design and plan campaign strategies.

• Handle event management and preparation of event materials.

Requirements • Proven experience in event management and event materials creation

• Proficiency in CRM and Database management

• Familiarity with EO/IR systems

• Ability to utilize Facebook Insights and Instagram for event promotions

• Experience in creating and managing advertisements

• Proven record in increasing brand awareness

• Expertise in campaign planning, both digital and traditional

• Ability to design event-related materials and digital content

• Experience in marketing events, including planning and execution

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills

• Proficient in using digital tools for event promotion and management

• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines

• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
