Robert Half Inventory Clerk in Atlanta, Georgia

Description We are searching for a meticulous Inventory Clerk to join our manufacturing team located in Atlanta, Georgia. In this role, you will be chiefly responsible for the inspection, testing, and quality verification of all incoming inventory items. This role also involves maintaining accurate inventory records, conducting routine audits, and implementing corrective action plans to address discrepancies. This role offers a short-term contract employment opportunity.

Key responsibilities:

• Conduct detailed inspections and tests on incoming inventory items to verify their quality.

• Ensure accurate tracking and accounting of all items through thorough inventory count verification.

• Check batches of produced items for accuracy, quality, and conformity with established standards.

• Conduct product testing to identify potential defects or quality issues.

• Accurately document quality-testing data and information.

• Collaborate with other departments, such as procurement and production, to maintain optimal inventory levels and prevent discrepancies.

• Identify inventory discrepancies during routine audits and report any irregularities promptly.

• Implement approved corrective action plans to address identified inventory discrepancies.

• Ensure all stocked items and stored goods comply with appropriate quality standards and regulations.

• Provide feedback and suggestions for improving inventory controls and management. Requirements • Must have experience in the manufacturing industry

• Proficiency with ADP - Financial Services is required

• Familiarity with Cerner Technologies is desired

• Experience with Epic Software is a plus

• Must have knowledge of ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning

• Should be familiar with ERP Solutions

• Proficiency with About Time software is advantageous

• Experience in answering inbound calls is necessary

• Must have auditing skills

• Ability to create and interpret charts and graphs is required

• Must be able to perform clerical duties effectively.
