Your tasks as Manager of Financial Reporting will include financial statement preparation and consolidation, account analysis and reconciliations, cash flow analysis, budgets and forecasting, audit preparation, and internal control maintenance and regulatory reporting. What you get to do every day
Work with business partners to ensure compliance with corporate accounting policies, procedures and controls and provide support on special requests
Provide analysis on financial results (trends, performance metrics, benchmarks)
Assemble monthly consolidated P& L and Balance Sheet flux analysis for management reporting
Dedication to continuously improve the automation of the accounting and reporting process
Prepare Balance Sheet account reconciliations
Partake in various department-wide initiatives
Execute monthly accounting close procedures and deliverables (journal entries, reconciliations, reports) in compliance with GAAP
Manage Ad-hoc projects as necessary
Aid in coordinating quarterly reviews and testing with internal and external auditors
Requirements
Accomplished in analytical, quantitative and social skills
Strong communication skills, both verbally and in writing
BA/BS in Accounting, CPA credentials are preferred
Comprehensive knowledge of journal entries
SEC reporting and SOX compliance is a plus
Prior work done in public accounting is desired
Ability to handle multiple projects within strict deadlines
Be detailed, flexible, and organized
Skilled at time management
4+ years of overall general accounting experience, ideally with Big 4 experience
Experience working in a dynamic and changing company environment a plus
Familiarity with corporate performance management (CPM) and business intelligence systems required
Proficient in ERP systems
Self-driven motivator who takes initiative on projects with a strong ability to understand and solve creative challenges
