Description We are offering an engaging role for a Network Administrator in the Local Government sector, based in Atlanta, Georgia. This role involves maintaining and optimizing our network infrastructure across multiple sites, ensuring system security and efficiency. This position offers a long-term contract employment opportunity, providing the chance to work in a supportive and collaborative team environment.
Responsibilities:
• Managing, maintaining, and optimizing network devices such as firewalls, switches, and access points across multiple sites.
• Overseeing the operation and support of numerous desk phones in the field.
• Implementing and managing access control measures, while escalating issues as necessary.
• Administering and maintaining a Disaster Recovery site.
• Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless network operations and security compliance.
• Continuously monitoring network performance and security, swiftly resolving any arising issues.
• Staying updated on industry trends and best practices to enhance network efficiency and security.
• Utilizing a range of tech skills, including Cisco Routers, Cisco Technologies, Citrix Technologies, Dell Technologies, Firewall Technologies, Active Directory, Backup Technologies, Computer Hardware, Configuration Management, and Deployments.
• Ensuring a secure and efficient network environment by managing Cisco networking equipment.
• Processing customer credit applications accurately and efficiently.
• Maintaining accurate customer credit records. Requirements • Proficient in managing Cisco Routers and Cisco Technologies
• Experience with Citrix Technologies is required
• Familiarity with Dell Technologies is a plus
• Expertise in Firewall Technologies is essential
• Must be knowledgeable in Active Directory
• Experience with Backup Technologies is needed
• Proficiency in Computer Hardware is desirable
• Must have experience in Configuration Management
• Capable of managing deployments
• Prior experience in a Local Government setting is beneficial
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with different departments
• Must be adaptable to changes in a constantly evolving industry
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
