Job Title: Mortgage Loan Closer
About Us: Our organization is expanding, and we're in search of a Mortgage Loan Closer to join our dynamic and professional team.
Job Description: We are in need of a detail-oriented and experienced Mortgage Loan Closer to prepare and verify closing documents during the completion of real estate transactions. As a Mortgage Loan Closer, you will work closely with loan officers, underwriters, and clients to ensure the deal is completed in a timely and accurate manner.
Responsibilities:
Coordinate and schedule loan closings.
Thoroughly review and confirm all loan details, including insurance information, title checks, etc.
Prepare closing documents and final funding figures.
Collaborate with third party vendors including title, escrow, and insurance companies.
Liaise with loan officers, underwriters, and clients to resolve any discrepancies prior to closing.
Ensure compliance with all federal and state regulations and laws.
Address and rectify post-closing issues swiftly and professionally.
Qualifications:
A minimum of two years' experience in loan processing or closing.
In-depth knowledge of loan closing procedures and documentation.
Familiarity with lending products and services.
Excellent organization and project management skills.
Strong numeric skills and financial acumen.
Proficiency in loan origination software and platforms.
Requirements • Proficiency in Data Entry tasks, including numeric data entry
• Demonstrated experience and knowledge in Microsoft Excel
• Previous experience in a Mortgage Lender Support role or similar
• Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines
• Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information responsibly
• Strong customer service skills with a focus on delivering high-quality support to clients
• Good organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new software and technologies.
