Compensation $80-95k+B - DOE
Hybrid after ramp-up
Our client is a leading law firm specializing in family law, dedicated to providing their clients with exceptional legal support and guidance. They are currently seeking an experienced Family Law Paralegal to join their dynamic team and contribute to our commitment to client-centered service.
As a Family Law Paralegal, you will play a vital role in assisting the attorneys with a variety of family law matters, including divorce, child custody, adoption, and domestic violence cases. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of family law procedures and demonstrate exceptional organizational and communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist attorneys in preparing legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and discovery requests.
Conduct legal research and summarize findings to support case strategy.
Manage case files and maintain accurate records, ensuring all documents are properly organized and filed.
Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel regarding case updates and procedural matters.
Assist in trial preparation, including gathering evidence, preparing exhibits, and organizing trial notebooks.
Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
Requirements
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree or paralegal certificate from an accredited program.
Minimum of 5 years of experience as a paralegal in family law.
Proficiency in legal research tools and case management software.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
