Description
A firm in Downtown Atlanta is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Trial Paralegal to support a busy litigation practice. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in trial preparation, with the ability to assist attorneys in all stages of litigation. The Trial Paralegal will play a crucial role in managing trial-related tasks, organizing case materials, and providing support during trial proceedings.
Responsibilities:
Assist attorneys with all aspects of trial preparation, including drafting pleadings, motions, and discovery requests.
Organize and maintain trial exhibits, documents, and evidence.
Coordinate witness interviews and prepare witness summaries.
Conduct legal research and compile case-related information.
Assist in the preparation of trial binders, exhibits, and demonstratives.
Attend trial proceedings and provide support to attorneys as needed.
Manage trial calendars, deadlines, and court filings.
Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel regarding trial logistics and scheduling.
Requirements
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree and/or paralegal certificate from an accredited institution.
Minimum of 5 years of experience as a paralegal, with a focus on commercial litigation.
Strong understanding of trial procedures and courtroom protocol.
Proficiency in legal research, document management, and trial preparation software.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with attorneys and legal staff.
