Print Project Manager (Contract-to-Hire)

Location: Atlanta, GA

Schedule: 4 days per week, onsite

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Print Project Manager to join our team. This role will be responsible for overseeing and managing the entire print production process, from initial concept to final delivery. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of print production techniques, a keen eye for detail, and excellent project management skills.

Responsibilities:

Project Management:Manage multiple print projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to project timelines and budgets.

  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders (design, marketing, procurement) and external vendors (printers, suppliers) to ensure seamless project execution.

  • Develop and maintain detailed project plans, timelines, and status reports.

  • Proactively identify and resolve potential issues or risks that may impact project timelines or budgets.

Print Production:Oversee the entire print production process, including file preparation, proofing, printing, and finishing.

  • Ensure adherence to brand guidelines, style guides, and quality standards.

  • Manage print vendor relationships, negotiate pricing, and oversee quality control.

  • Monitor print production costs and identify opportunities for cost savings.

Workfront:Utilize Workfront to manage project workflows, track tasks, and monitor project progress.

  • Create and maintain accurate project plans and timelines within Workfront.

  • Leverage Workfront to facilitate communication and collaboration with team members and stakeholders.

    Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Marketing, or a related field.

  • 5+ years of experience in print production or project management.

  • Strong understanding of print production processes, including offset and digital printing.

  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator) and Microsoft Office Suite.

  • Experience with Workfront is a must.

  • Excellent organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills.

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
