Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and organized individual to join our agency client as a Production Manager. As the Agency Production Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the planning, coordination, and execution of all production activities within the agency. Your primary goal will be to ensure that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meet the highest quality standards. This role requires excellent project management skills, strong leadership abilities, and a keen eye for detail.
Responsibilities:
Project Planning and Coordination:
Collaborate with clients, account managers, and creative teams to understand project requirements and objectives.
Develop production plans, timelines, and budgets for each project, ensuring all stakeholders are informed and aligned.
Coordinate resources, including internal staff, freelancers, vendors, and equipment, to ensure efficient project execution.
Budget and Cost Management:
Create and manage project budgets, tracking expenses and ensuring projects are delivered within allocated funds.
Negotiate contracts and pricing with vendors and suppliers to optimize costs while maintaining quality standards.
Identify cost-saving opportunities and provide recommendations to enhance the agency's profitability.
Production Oversight:
Monitor project progress, identifying potential bottlenecks or issues, and implementing solutions to keep projects on track.
Conduct regular quality checks to ensure deliverables meet the agency's and clients' standards.
Ensure compliance with legal, safety, and industry regulations throughout the production process.
Team Leadership and Collaboration:
Manage a team of production staff, providing guidance, feedback, and support to optimize performance and professional growth.
Foster a collaborative and positive work environment, encouraging effective communication and teamwork across departments.
Collaborate closely with account managers, creative teams, and clients to align expectations and ensure smooth project flow.
Continuous Improvement:
Stay updated on industry trends, technologies, and best practices related to production management.
Identify areas for process improvement and implement strategies to enhance efficiency, productivity, and quality.
Conduct post-project evaluations, capturing lessons learned, and implementing feedback to optimize future productions.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., marketing, communications, or film production).
Proven experience as a Production Manager in an agency or similar fast-paced environment.
Strong project management skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
Excellent organizational and time management abilities, with acute attention to detail.
Exceptional leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire teams.
Solid understanding of production processes, including pre-production, shooting, editing, and post-production.
Proficiency in project management tools and software.
Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.
Knowledge of industry regulations, safety standards, and legal requirements.
