Regional Account Management VP - Any U.S. Location




The Regional Account Management VP is responsible for preserving existing business and generating new business by developing new opportunities within their assigned geography of accounts.

Once taking over the management of the account from the Regional Account Acquisition and Alignment VP, the Regional Account Management VP is the link between the client and RH regarding both overall account strategy as well as tactical matters, anticipating and understanding the client's specific needs and offering solutions.


  • Acting as the primary liaison to the client after the first 90+ days from the date the contract is signed.

  • Leverage our Regional agreement to generate new business opportunities within assigned portfolio with the goal of aligning Robert Half Talent Solutions practice groups while continuing to build on the strategy set during acquisition. Additional goal of securing at least one project (SOW) per year. Portfolio is reviewed annually.

  • Set up recurring meetings to review job openings and to gather information to help the branches staff open requisitions.

  • Working with the field offices and SA Account Services professionals to ensure job orders are sourced and filled quickly, to ensure high level of client satisfaction.

  • Coordinate a sales approach across geographies which includes high level client strategy meetings and quarterly business reviews, focused at mid-level line management and/or the C-Suite level.

  • Conduct recurring meetings with Program Managers for accounts with Managed Service Providers and attend Supplier Forums.

  • Assisting in the resolution of any major (client) issues that arise within the account.

  • Understanding and studying market trends and knowing how they affect the assigned accounts.

  • Through the ZOOM Info or Discover, working with the top revenue locations to ensure the customer service and penetration into the account is optimized.

  • Working with field leadership to ensure dedicated pursuit teams are aware of the opportunities in their assigned areas and accounts that are on the field’s team target lists.

  • Building strong client sponsors who embrace the RH strategy.


  • Minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in account management and expansion with a proven track record for being a top performer.

  • Internal Robert Half experience as a top performing leader or previous experience as a top performing account manager of large strategic accounts clients in a staffing organization.

  • Proven motivation and collaboration skills.

  • Excellent negotiation and presentation skills at mid-level line management and/or C-suite level.

  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.

  • Well organized and able to interpret and draw relevant insights from various resources and methodologies.

  • Able to manage multiple clients, maintaining a high degree of customer satisfaction.

  • Travel may be required based on comfort level.
