Robert Half Senior Financial Analyst in Atlanta, Georgia
Description We are seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to be a part of our team located in Atlanta, Georgia. The role involves executing financial and accounting responsibilities in the manufacturing industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for processing improvement, financial planning and analysis (FP& A), budgeting, forecasting, and reporting, as well as partnering with business leaders.
Responsibilities:
• Execute financial planning and analysis tasks to support decision-making processes.
• Implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
• Collaborate with business leaders to understand and address their financial needs and concerns.
• Manage budgeting processes to ensure financial sustainability and profitability.
• Conduct forecasting activities to predict future financial trends.
• Generate comprehensive financial reports for internal use.
• Utilize accounting software systems for efficient and accurate financial operations.
• Handle customer credit applications, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
• Maintain precise records of customer credit.
• Resolve customer inquiries promptly and professionally. Requirements • Possession of a minimum of 5 years of experience as a Financial Analyst or in a similar role.
• Proficiency in the use of accounting software systems.
• Familiarity with 3M and ADP - Financial Services is required.
• Experience with Concur and CRM is a must.
• Demonstrable knowledge of accounting functions and accounts payable (AP).
• Experience in the preparation of an annual budget.
• Proficiency in auditing and budget processes.
• A Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
• Adherence to professional ethics and compliance with regulatory standards in finance.
• Proven experience in financial forecasting and diagnosis, corporate finance, and information analysis.
• Well informed in current financial subjects, tax laws, money market, and business environments.
• Excellent presentation, reporting, and negotiation skills.
• Analytical thinking with strong orientation towards innovative problem-solving.
• Familiarity with financial modelling techniques and valuation methods.
• Professional certification such as CFA/CPA or similar will be considered a plus.
