Description
Robert Half is seeking a proactive and knowledgeable Software Engineer for a remote contract opportunity with an enterprise client. This role is critical in leveraging AI technologies to meet the urgent needs of internal customers, specifically focusing on automating data management solutions and governance practices.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement AI-driven solutions to address immediate internal customer needs.
Design and tailor solutions to bridge gaps in existing tooling and adapt them to specific requirements.
Build automation tools for improved governance and data management processes.
Conduct technology research and API development to innovate and enhance customer solutions.
Engage with various databases (DB2, AWS S3 & Redshift, Salesforce Tables, Postgres, SQL) through scripting and APIs.
Requirements
Preferred Skills and Qualifications:
Strong experience in AI and metadata management.
Proficient in full-stack development, solution architecture, and AWS platforms.
Knowledgeable in software development practices, RESTful services design, development, and testing.
Technical skills in Core Java, SpringBoot, Spring frameworks, DevOps (Gitlab CI/CD), and basic Linux commands.
Front-end development skills including JavaScript, jQuery, HTML, CSS.
Familiarity with AWS services (S3, Redshift, Glue), and other technologies like Maven, Postman.
Python programming skills.
Additional beneficial skills include familiarity with Informatica tools (EDC, Axon, DQ), database design, analytics, and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
Experience with deployment automation using Terraform and test automation frameworks (junit, BDD).
Exceptional troubleshooting abilities and a keen interest in learning new technologies swiftly.

Adept at handling multiple tasks and working in a fast-paced environment.
