Description As a Systems Administrator, you will be responsible for the management and support of our IT systems, with a focus on Azure Active Directory administration, Intune management, virtualization technologies (VMware or Hyper-V), PowerShell scripting, and networking. Your expertise will be crucial in ensuring the reliability and performance of our IT infrastructure. This is a contract to permanent opportunity. Key Responsibilities: Administer and manage Azure Active Directory, including user and group management, security configurations, and access controls. Implement and maintain Microsoft Intune for device management and application deployment. Manage virtualization technologies, including VMware or Hyper-V, ensuring optimal performance and availability of virtual machines. Develop and maintain PowerShell scripts for automation of system tasks and reporting. Troubleshoot and resolve networking issues, including connectivity, routing, and firewall configurations. Monitor system performance, security, and availability, implementing necessary adjustments and improvements. Collaborate with the IT team to plan and implement system upgrades, migrations, and new deployments. Document system configurations, processes, and procedures to ensure knowledge transfer and compliance. Requirements 3+ years of experience as a Systems Administrator or in a similar technical role. Strong experience with Azure Active Directory administration and management. Proficient in Microsoft Intune for device management and application deployment. Experience with virtualization technologies, specifically VMware or Hyper-V. Strong knowledge of PowerShell scripting for automation and system management. Solid understanding of networking concepts and troubleshooting methodologies. Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Preferred Skills: Relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate, VMware Certified detail oriented). Familiarity with ITIL framework and best practices.
