We are seeking a Business Development Vice President in our government practice. This exciting role is focused on driving new client relationships for this fast-growing practice. This role covers a large geographic area, you will be a key part of our strategy, performing both business development as well as capture for our target public sector clients. You will be representing the whole enterprise, leveraging our unique capabilities and subject matter expertise. The goal is to create credibility, building strong and lasting client relationships. As a Robert Half Government Business Development Vice President , your specific responsibilities will include:

  • Signing new deals within the RH Government public sector target market

  • Scaling accounts to $1M+ revenue and expanding the suite of services we provide to a client

  • Developing client relationships prior to RFPs to raise client awareness of our capabilities

  • Identify and track important RFP opportunities

  • Collaborate with RH Government team members and enterprise Solution Leads

  • Developing and executing revenue growth strategy for the first 12 -24 months

  • Coordinating the hand-off of accounts to delivery teams and business expansion teams


  • History of top performance in business development

  • Enterprise business development experience in a complex environment

  • Successful experience marketing to the public sector

  • Flexible location, travel may be required in accordance with company guidelines and federal, state and local requirements

  • Robert Half management experience preferred

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent, preferred
