Description We are looking for a meticulous and efficient Accounts Payable Clerk to join our manufacturing team in Auburn, New York. This role requires a detail-oriented professional who will manage daily transactions, contribute to month-end closing processes, and work on ad hoc projects as necessary. The successful candidate will demonstrate a hands-on approach and a readiness to collaborate closely with the team to solve complex problems.
Responsibilities:
• Manage Accounts Payable and Receivable processes, including account collections
• Verify and record business transactions on a daily basis
• Contribute to the Month End Close process, which includes General Ledger reconciliations, credit card reconciliations, received not invoiced analysis, and following a 3-point inventory reconciliation method
• Assist in purchasing activities
• Continually analyze accounting processes and procedures to ensure team success
• Review, investigate, and rectify errors or inconsistencies in accounting entries and reports
• Handle inventory and manufacturing-related tasks
• Use your proficiency in Account Reconciliation, Microsoft Excel, Epicor, and other relevant skills to enhance efficiency and accuracy

• Experience in Check Runs
• Familiarity with Coding Invoices
• Proficient in Data Entry
• Experience in Invoice Processing
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel
• Familiarity with Epicor software
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise extreme discretion
• Excellent problem-solving skills
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail
• Strong organizational skills
• Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Knowledge of manufacturing industry is a plus
