Description

Robert Half is offering an exciting opportunity for an HR Generalist in to join a great local non-profit located in Auburn, New York. The role involves diverse HR functions including benefit functions, compensation administration, compliance, and employee relations, among others.

Responsibilities:

• Utilize HRMS for various HR tasks and data management

• Administer employee benefits and address related queries

• Ensure compensation administration is carried out effectively

• Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations

• Manage employee relations and address any issues that may arise

• Oversee payroll functions to ensure accurate and timely payment to employees

• Utilize Applicant Track System for efficient recruitment and selection processes

• Perform corporate recruiting duties and coordinate new hire orientations

• Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy.

Requirements • Candidate must have a minimum of 1 year experience in a HR Generalist role, preferably within the Healthcare, Hospitals, or Social Assistance industries.

• Proficiency in HR Management Systems (HRMS) is essential.

• Strong knowledge of benefit functions and compensation administration is required.

• Compliance with labor laws and regulations is required.

• Ability to manage employee relations and address employee concerns effectively.

• Experience in payroll functions is necessary.

• Familiarity with Applicant Track Systems for efficient management of recruitment processes.

• Previous experience in corporate recruiting is preferable.

• Ability to conduct new hire orientations and integrate new employees into the organization.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

• Ability to maintain confidentiality and act with discretion and integrity.

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
