Robert Half IT Support Analyst in Auburn, New York

Description We are in the wholesale distribution industry, located in Auburn, New York, and we're looking to expand our team with a Help Desk Analyst. This role is focused on providing technical support to all departments, including our production facility, distribution center, office, and outside branch locations. The successful candidate will troubleshoot hardware, network, and software issues, as well as manage and maintain our anti-virus, backup, and recovery software.

Responsibilities:

• Troubleshoot hardware, network, and software issues across all departments

• Provide technical assistance to end users seeking hardware and software support

• Install and maintain hardware such as desktops, laptops, printers, faxes, scanners, and tablets

• Set up and maintain user accounts in a variety of software platforms

• Manage and maintain anti-virus, backup, and recovery software

• Use ticketing system to document and track issues and resolutions

• Provide remote assistance to users when necessary

• Work in collaboration with other team members to ensure smooth and efficient operations

• Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and trends in help desk support

• Continually improve technical skills and knowledge to provide the best support to end users. Requirements • Minimum of three years of experience as a Help Desk Analyst or in a similar role within the Wholesale Distribution industry.

• Proficiency in utilizing Ticketing System to track, prioritize, and resolve help desk requests.

• Demonstrated ability in providing Remote Assistance to troubleshoot and solve technical issues.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical issues to non-technical individuals.

• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically to resolve complex technical issues.

• Proven ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.

• Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Familiarity with standard office software and hardware, as well as network troubleshooting.

• Commitment to providing superior customer service and a positive attitude towards helping others.
