Description

The Accounting Clerk will match invoices to purchase orders/ vouchers, data entry, and assist with Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable. What you get to do every single day
Circulate financial information to journals and ledgers
Remedy discrepancies by checking all possible sources of disagreement, reconstructing probable actions, and recognizing the effect on other accounts; prepare correction documents as required
Arrange documents that require knowledge in determining proper classification of expenditure codes and accounting codes
Put together statements and reports that require utilization of an assortment of sources
Assist with general ledger account reconciliation and month-end closing, other ad hoc projects
Process daily invoices/credit, apply cash receipt, and help with collection of past due balance
Vendor invoices and disbursement filing, accounts payable invoice matching & filing
Requirements
Outstanding data entry skills
Comprehensive knowledge of Accounts Payable
Spreadsheet and ERP system experience is ideal, but not required
Ability to multitask and attention to detail are critical
Associate or bachelor's in accounting or related field preferred
