Description
We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for an Account Manager in Augusta, Georgia. This role will involve a variety of responsibilities from organizing events to managing key accounts. It is a dynamic role that requires a unique blend of skills including community event management, event coordination, customer service, and organizational abilities.
Responsibilities:
• Serve as the primary liaison for businesses that collaborate with the non-profit, ensuring smooth communication and partnership.
• Assist in the planning, coordination, and execution of non-profit events, applying your expertise in event management.
• Collaborate effectively with the marketing team to create promotional materials for events.
• Develop and manage direct marketing and email marketing campaigns to promote non-profit events.
• Take charge of key account management, ensuring the maintenance and growth of existing business relationships.
• Proactively seek and secure new business opportunities to expand our current book of business.
• Coordinate virtual interviews for follow-ups with partners and stakeholders, ensuring their satisfaction and continued engagement.
• Employ flexibility in work schedule to accommodate varying work shifts and occasional weekend duties.
• Handle additional duties as necessary in line with the role of an Account Manager in the non-profit sector.
Requirements • Demonstrated experience in Event Management, including planning, coordinating, and executing events.
• Proven ability in handling Community Events, ensuring all aspects run smoothly and meet organizational objectives.
• Strong Organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
• Experience in Customer Service, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Familiarity with Non-Profit sector and its unique challenges and rewards.
• Proven ability to work in a team-oriented environment, collaborating with colleagues and stakeholders.
• Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to quickly adapt to unexpected changes or challenges.
• Proficiency in using technology and software for event planning and management.
• Strong ethical standards, with a commitment to the values and mission of the organization.
• Ability to travel as needed for event planning and execution.
• Strong attention to detail, ensuring all aspects of events are planned and executed to high standards.
