Robert Half Office Manager in Augusta, Georgia

Description We are offering an exciting opportunity for a diligent and experienced Bookkeeper in Augusta, Georgia. The successful candidate will be joining our team as a Credit Clerk, responsible for managing and maintaining credit records and applications, as well as addressing customer inquiries. This role is integral to our operations, ensuring that customer credit accounts are monitored and delinquent payments are collected.

Responsibilities:

• Accurate and efficient processing of customer credit applications

• Maintenance and updating of customer credit records

• Resolution of customer credit inquiries in a timely and professional manner

• Monitoring of customer credit accounts to identify any discrepancies

• Taking appropriate actions to collect delinquent payments

• Utilizing software like QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel for data entry and account reconciliation

• Managing Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Performing bank reconciliations and month-end close procedures

• Handling payroll duties and maintaining document control

• Professionally answering inbound calls and assisting customers with their queries. Requirements • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a Bookkeeper role or similar financial position

• Proficiency in Account Reconciliation, Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), and Bank Reconciliations

• Solid experience in Bookkeeping and Data Entry

• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel

• Experience with Month End Close procedures

• Familiarity with Payroll processes and software

• Proficiency in QuickBooks or similar accounting software

• Experience in handling and professionally answering inbound calls

• Ability to maintain and manage document control procedures

• Excellent communication and organizational skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• High attention to detail and accuracy in work

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field is preferred

• Strong ethical standards and high levels of integrity

• Ability to handle sensitive, confidential information

• Must be legally authorized to work in the specified location.
