Robert Half Full Charge Bookkeeper in Aurora, Colorado

Description We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for a Full Charge Bookkeeper in AURORA, Colorado. The person in this role will be working in a dynamic industry, handling a range of responsibilities from bookkeeping to general ledger accounting. This role is critical to the smooth operation of our financial activities and requires someone with a strong understanding of basic bookkeeping, bank and credit card reconciliations, and financial reporting.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and maintain financial records with an emphasis on accuracy and timeliness.

• Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable, ensuring all transactions are correctly recorded.

• Conduct bank and credit card reconciliations to verify all transactions align with financial records.

• Perform general ledger accounting tasks using QuickBooks, ensuring all financial data is up to date.

• Prepare monthly financial reports to provide an overview of the financial status of the company.

• Ensure the month-end close procedures are carried out efficiently and accurately.

• Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate action as needed.

• Assist with processing customer credit applications, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.

• Maintain accurate customer credit records.

• Resolve customer inquiries related to financial transactions and account status. Requirements • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a bookkeeping role is required

• Proficiency in basic bookkeeping skills

• Experience in bank reconciliations

• Competency in credit card reconciliation

• Familiarity with month-end close procedures

• Demonstrated ability in financial reporting

• Must have a professional approach to handling confidential information

• Good verbal and written communication skills

• Attention to detail and high level of accuracy

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks

• Proficiency in using computer software for bookkeeping

• Knowledge of local, state, and federal financial regulations.
