Robert Half Credit Analyst in Aurora, Illinois

Description We are in search of a Credit Analyst to join our team in Aurora, Illinois. This role offers a long term contract employment opportunity in the industry. As a Credit Analyst, you will be tasked with evaluating and approving credit requests, monitoring account records, and establishing credit limits.

Responsibilities:

• Evaluate customers' credit data and financial statements to assess the degree of risk involved in extending credits

• Establish credit limits and risk ratings based on thorough analysis

• Regularly monitor and update credit files to ensure accuracy and timeliness

• Collaborate with internal groups such as legal, finance, and operations teams to address and resolve credit related issues

• Prepare credit reports and suggest interest rates based on credit data analysis

• Forecast business, industry, and economic conditions for use in making credit decisions

• Assist with approving or rejecting lines of credit and commercial, real estate, or personal loans

• Utilize CRM and ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning tools in managing customer accounts and credit applications

• Apply knowledge of Accounts Receivable (AR), Cash Flow Analysis, Collection Processes, and Credit Application in daily tasks

• Monitor credit portfolio for trends and watch-rated credits to mitigate potential financial risks. Requirements • Possession of a Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field is required.

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in credit analysis or a similar role.

• Demonstrated proficiency in utilizing CRM systems.

• Familiarity with ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning systems.

• Experience in managing Accounts Receivable (AR) is essential.

• Expertise in Cash Flow Analysis and Collection Processes.

• Proficient understanding of credit and credit application processes.

• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Attention to detail and high level of accuracy.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.

• Must have legal authorization to work.

• Willingness to keep up-to-date with industry changes and developments.
