Description We are in search of a diligent Staff Accountant to join our team based in AURORA, Ohio, 44202-9202, United States. The role involves overseeing all operational areas of accounting within our organization. This is a permanent position offering an exciting opportunity to work in a challenging and fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Handle monthly, quarterly, and annual accounting close, ensuring all account reconciliations are reviewed, completed, and tied to financial statements before the closing dates

• Prepare weekly Cash Management reports

• Manage and file quarterly Sales and Use tax reports

• Oversee the company's credit card management, including reconciliation

• Handle intercompany transactions and sales & use tax

• Assist in conducting the Annual Fiscal Year Audit

• Participate in special projects as needed

• Utilize your skills in Bank Reconciliations, General Ledger, Journal Entries, Month End Close, SAP, and Tax - Sales & Use effectively to perform your duties. Requirements • Must have a minimum of 1 year of experience as a Staff Accountant or in a similar role

• Demonstrable proficiency in Bank Reconciliations, General Ledger maintenance, Journal Entries, and Month End Close procedures

• Must have hands-on experience with SAP or similar accounting software

• Knowledge in Tax - Sales & Use is required

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field is preferred

• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Strong time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines

• Must adhere to the highest standards of confidentiality and discretion

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, is a plus

• CPA certification, or progress towards certification, is desirable.
