Where We Need You:

The Austin, Dallas, and Houston offices is seeking a Technology Risk Management & Governance Experienced Consultant to join our growing team.

Experienced C onsultant s learn from the best management team in an effort to develop an understanding o f business processes and build technical skills in general risk areas. Th e Experienced C onsultant conduct s interviews, compiles and analyz es data, and documents findings. Through interaction with client a nd project team personnel, the Experienced C onsultant develops professional relationships that contribute to exceptional client service. The successful Experienced Consultant learns effective time and task management, takes ownership of assignments and accepts responsibility for team results.

    Do Your Talents Include the Following?

  • Experience in technology risk management and/or technology audit, compliance, or regulatory functions with assessing technology risks and controls, performing risk and control evaluations in a variety of IT environments with demonstrated background in applying risk and control, security, and technology principles

  • Experience with frameworks including ITIL, COBIT and/or COSO.

  • Technical experience across all aspects of the SDLC DevOps lifecycle including source code version control, code quality, build management, containerization, orchestration, continuous testing / automated tools, automated integration testing, automated regression testing, security testing, etc.

  • Technical experience reviewing the work of first line technology and providing effective challenges to their solution design, build, and control effectiveness evidence

  • Ability to execute and assess against FFIEC IT Exam Handbook to validate IT risk

  • Experience evaluating IT architecture design for infrastructure, virtualization, cloud technology and business technology architecture for financial institutions in context with specific risks involving scalability

  • Experience assessing program and project management competencies for risk management control effectiveness across methodologies (i.e., Waterfall, SAFE, SCRUM).

  • Experience evaluating key technology processes, such as asset management, issue management, patch management and/or change management

  • Previous experience with FSI p roducts/ s ervices areas is preferred, including but not limited t o c ommercial b anking, capital markets , b ank ca rds/ p ayments, i nsurance, a sset m anagement or broker-dealer

    Your Educational and Professional Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in relevant discipline (e.g. MIS, CIS) required

  • 1-2 + years in a related field required; preferably in professional services and/or industry

  • Certifications including but not limited to disciplines such as architecture (e.g., TOGAF), application life cycle management (e.g., PMP, Agile Scrum/Product Owner, SAFe , DevOps), service management (e.g., ITIL), CISSP, CISM, CRISC , are strongly preferred

  • Technology specific certifications around VMware, Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure, MCSA/MCSE, Cisco, etc. are a plus

  • Previous experience with FSI Products/Services areas including but not limited to: Commercial Banking, Capital Markets, Bank Cards/Payments, Insurance, Asset Management or Broker-Dealer

    We travel throughout the month frequently based upon client requests/commitments. Travel may include suburban, regional, or out of state locations.
