Description Job Title: Billing Clerk

Job Description:

We are seeking a experienced and driven Billing Clerk to join our finance team. The ideal candidate is organized, efficient, and equipped with advanced Excel skills. This role involves managing a diverse range of billing procedures and is critical to the company’s revenue stream. The Billing Clerk should also be prepared to participate actively in department meetings and contribute to team discussions.

Responsibilities:

Handle weekly time billing.

Execute month-end commercial and contract billing, encompassing the production and approval of sales orders, and distribution to customers.

Assist sales team with quality control of salvage invoicing related to aftermarket sales.

Process free text invoicing throughout the month.

Ensure all billing activities are finalized within two days of the month-end close.

Preparation for and active participation in regular meetings, with potential to lead in the absence of other team members.

Coordinate closely with other team members to ensure seamless operations during team members' absence.

Act as a flexible team player, ready to pivot to alternative tasks as required.

Qualifications:

Proven experience as a Billing Clerk or similar role.

Advanced Excel skills, particularly with Pivot tables and VLOOKUP function.

Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and time management.

Ability to work in a relaxed but dynamic culture, maintaining commitment and meeting deadlines.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

The ideal candidate will adapt to changes and demonstrate commitment to the role and the team. A steadfast focus, reliability, and proficiency in carrying out tasks autonomously are highly valued in this role.
