Description We are in search of a Controller to join our team in Austin, Texas. This role is pivotal in the financial management of our operations, and will be reporting directly to the CFO. The Controller will be involved in the month-end close process including revenue reporting, journal entries, account reconciliations, and variance analysis. This role offers an exciting contract employment opportunity and requires collaboration with senior leadership, providing strategic insights as the company expands in the Texas market.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare monthly journal entries and balance sheet account reconciliations for various company's balance sheet accounts.

• Perform revenue analytics and reconcile source data, ensuring the accurate recording of sales revenue according to signed contracts and GAAP guidelines.

• Prepare monthly reports and dashboards for management reporting.

• Assist in the documentation of processes and key policies - SOPs.

• Set up and manage QuickBooks for accounting purposes.

• Display a hands-on, roll-up-the-sleeves attitude, taking charge of accounting functions.

• Work on special projects and reporting as assigned.

• Collaborate closely with the CEO and CFO to provide strategic financial insights.

• Utilize skills in Accounting Software Systems, ADP - Financial Services, ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning, ERP Solutions, and Budget Processes.

• Handle Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR), and perform Auditing tasks as necessary. Requirements • Must have a minimum of 10 years of experience in a Controller or similar role

• Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems is required

• Experience with ADP - Financial Services is necessary

• Demonstrated knowledge of ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning and ERP Solutions

• Strong understanding of Accounting Functions, including Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Familiarity with Auditing procedures and principles

• Experience with Budget Processes is essential

• Must possess excellent communication and leadership skills

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field is required

• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Certified Management Accountant (CMA) is preferred

• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams

• Must adhere to strict confidentiality and data privacy standards

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
