Description We are welcoming applications for the role of Accounting Manager/Supervisor in our Manufacturing business based in Austin, Texas. This role is integral to our Accounting team, with a focus on reconciling and applying trade and non-trade related deductions within our systems. You will be working collaboratively with multiple teams, including Accounting, Finance, Sales, and Supply Chain, as well as our retail partners.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee all departmental activities including deduction application and dispute resolution, ensuring tasks are completed accurately and executed timely to support the monthly financial close.

• Determine strategies for transaction processing efficiencies and lead the implementation of new processes and system functionality.

• Manage invalid deductions and track disputes with customers for repayment.

• Monitor compliance of accounting policies and internal controls, and support internal and external audits.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, fielding process-related questions and acting as a subject matter expert.

• Create and deliver management reporting metrics to ensure teams are functioning effectively, and provide month-end reporting such as actual spend GL details, open deductions reporting, non-trade actuals.

• Provide backup support for Accounts Receivable (cross-training, coverage).

• Use Accounting Software Systems, ADP - Financial Services, ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning, ERP Solutions, Great Plains (GPAC), and other accounting functions effectively. Requirements • Possess 3 or more years of experience in a managerial or supervisory role within the accounting sector

• Demonstrated proficiency in Accounting Software Systems

• Prior experience with ADP - Financial Services is essential

• Familiarity with ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning and ERP Solutions

• Experience with Great Plains (GPAC) is desirable

• Comprehensive understanding and ability to oversee Accounting Functions

• Capable of managing Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Experience in Auditing procedures

• Proficiency in managing Billing Functions

• Must have a background in the manufacturing industry.
