Description
Our Austin based client is seeking an experienced and dynamic Director of Marketing to lead their marketing department and drive strategic initiatives to enhance brand visibility, market presence, and customer engagement. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in marketing strategy, digital and traditional marketing channels, team leadership, and data-driven decision-making. This role is pivotal in shaping the direction of the company’s marketing efforts and achieving business growth objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement a comprehensive marketing strategy that aligns with company goals and objectives.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (sales, product, customer success, etc.) to ensure marketing strategies are integrated across all departments.
Oversee the development and execution of brand strategy, ensuring consistency and relevance across all marketing channels.
Drive growth through integrated digital marketing initiatives including SEO/SEM, email marketing, social media, content marketing, and paid media.
Oversee traditional marketing efforts such as print, events, sponsorships, and public relations to build brand awareness and customer loyalty.
Provide regular performance reports and insights to the executive team to inform business decisions.
Develop and manage the marketing budget, ensuring effective allocation of resources to maximize impact.
Identify new growth opportunities, both in existing markets and new customer segments.
Requirements
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field. MBA or advanced degree preferred.
7+ years of experience in marketing, with at least 3-5 years in a leadership role.
Proven track record of developing and executing successful marketing strategies in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.
Experience in both B2B and B2C marketing preferred.
Strong expertise in digital marketing, data analytics, and marketing automation tools.
Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to think strategically and drive innovation while maintaining a results-driven mindset.
Proficiency in marketing software (CRM, Google Analytics, SEM/SEO tools, email platforms, etc.).
A creative mindset with a data-oriented approach.
