Description There is an exciting long-term contract / temporary to full-time Principal Analyst opportunity with one of our clients in the Hi Tech Engineering industry. This Principal Analyst will be situated in Austin, Texas. This role will be our client's primary point of contact for all financial issues, including project spending, planning, forecasting and annual budgeting. This Senior Financial Analyst consultant role is for someone who wants to perform analysis of the operating results and financial performance of core business segments supporting public reporting requirements, and provide decision-making support for future company investments.

Create sustainable business, operational, and financial processes widely understood by all necessary teams
Draft quarterly and monthly management reporting - evaluating financial results, summarizing key trends, analyzing current and future business risks, and flagging critical updates to senior leadership
Drive improved management reporting - work with Operations and Accounting to more discreetly and accurately track financial results
Assess and execute financial analysis in order to optimize business performance
Offer assistance for ad-hoc analysis and presentation requests as necessary
Manage advantageous relationships with Finance/Accounting leadership of integral business partners
Advance existing management reporting - analyze financial results, distill and synthesize key issues, communicate integral updates to senior management
Coordinate with Functional leads to draft management reporting, accounting and compliance advisement, and guarantee alignment of operational initiatives Requirements Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) from a college or university in a business-related field (Finance or Accounting preferred). Minimum of 5 years related experience - SAAS Software Industry, Corporate FP& A, and MNC preferred. Requires the analytical ability to comprehend, analyze, and interpret financial information and transactions in order to solve complex problems. efficient and enthusiasm required to partner with and influence multiple stakeholders across Finance, Accounting, the Executive team and other External Departments. Advanced level of Excel required. Strong computer skills, including specific knowledge of the entire Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, etc.). Requires strong work ethic and a keen ability to set and meet project deadlines. Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to provide efficient, timely, reliable and courteous service to internal customers. Experience with software and financial systems, such as NetSuite, Workday Adaptive Planning (fka Adaptive Insights), Salesforce and OpenAir is strong preferred.
