Description We are offering an opportunity for a Sales Assistant in Austin, Texas, 78757, United States. The role primarily involves providing insights on merchandise and supporting customers in their purchase decisions. This position requires you to interact with customers frequently, so excellent communication skills are a must. Additionally, you will need to handle retail and cash transactions effectively.


• Communicate effectively with customers to provide information on available merchandise

• Highlight relevant offers to support customers in their purchase decisions

• Learn quickly on the job to handle retail and cash handling duties efficiently

• Stand for extended periods and lift boxes up to 40 lbs

• Adhere to the dress code, including wearing a provided shirt

• Be available for multiple shifts per week, including at least one weekend matinee

• Attend mandatory orientation and training sessions

• Manage high volume customer interactions with a friendly personality

• Support hiring processes by submitting information via the tracking system and answering screening questions in pre-recorded videos

• Provide workstation support to ensure smooth operations. Requirements • Proven experience in a Sales Assistant role or similar position within a retail environment

• Proficiency in using various sales and customer tracking systems

• Excellent customer service skills and the ability to build strong customer relationships

• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, and the ability to effectively communicate with customers and team members

• Experience with cash handling and maintaining accurate records of transactions

• Knowledge of basic hiring processes and the ability to assist in recruiting and training new staff members

• Familiarity with merchandising principles and the ability to assist in creating attractive product displays

• Ability to provide insight and contribute to the development of sales strategies and goals

• Experience with workstation support and maintaining an organized and efficient work environment

• Basic knowledge of R Code and ST Microcontroller systems

• Ability to use video tools for promotional and training purposes

• Experience in a theatrical environment is a plus, but not required

• Must be able to adhere to all company policies and procedures, including health and safety regulations.
