Description We are in search of a Sales Assistant to join our team, based in Austin, Texas. This role involves assisting with merchandise sales, supporting customers with their purchases, and maintaining excellent customer service in a high-volume environment.
Responsibilities:
• Provide insights on available merchandise and highlight relevant offers to support customer purchases.
• Demonstrate excellent communication skills and a friendly personality to engage with customers effectively.
• Learn quickly to become proficient in retail and cash handling duties.
• Stand for extended periods and handle packages up to 40 lbs.
• Adhere to the company's dress code, which includes wearing a company-provided shirt.
• Be available for a variety of shifts, including at least one weekend matinee.
• Attend mandatory orientation and training.
• Achieve personal performance targets and contribute to meeting business needs.
• Possess skills in customer service, sales, training, workstation support, hiring processes, merchandising, cash handling, retail, and communication.
• Handle customer inquiries and issues professionally and promptly.
• Assist in maintaining the retail space, ensuring it is clean and organized.
• Work closely with the team to achieve sales targets and enhance customer experience.
• Stay up-to-date with product features and maintain our store's visual appearance in high standards. Requirements • Demonstrated proficiency in Customer Service roles
• Prior experience in Sales, preferably within a retail environment
• Experience in Training and Workstation Support
• Familiarity with Hiring Processes
• Practical knowledge of Merchandising
• Experience in Cash Handling
• Strong Communication Skills
• Proficiency in using Video tools for presentations or training
• Basic understanding of R Code and Track System
• Experience in a Theatre setting or Theatrical roles is a plus
• Ability to Provide Insight on sales trends and customer preferences
