Description

We are offering a contract employment opportunity for a Social Media Specialist in Austin, Texas. In this role, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks related to social media advertising and analytics. You will be working in a fast-paced environment where your expertise in platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, Google+, and Hootsuite will be highly utilized.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement social media strategies to increase brand awareness and customer engagement.

  • Use tools such as Google Analytics and Facebook Insights to track the success of social media campaigns.

  • Plan and manage advertisement campaigns on platforms like Google AdWords and Meta Ads.

  • Create engaging blog content to attract and retain customers.

  • Use Facebook Ads Manager and Google Ad Manager to optimize ads and reach target audiences.

  • Monitor and respond to customer feedback on social media platforms.

  • Collaborate with the team to ensure brand consistency across all platforms.

  • Stay up-to-date with current technologies and trends in social media, design tools, and applications.

  • Use analytics data to inform future social media campaigns.

  • Collaborate with other departments to manage company reputation, coordinate promotions, and increase reach.

    Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in using social media platforms including, but not limited to, Facebook, Instagram, and Google+.

  • Experience in using social media management tools such as Hootsuite.

  • Demonstrable skills in running advertisements on social media platforms.

  • Strong understanding of social media analytics, including Facebook Insights and Google Analytics.

  • Experience in blogging to enhance brand awareness.

  • Familiarity with campaign planning and execution on various social media platforms.

  • Knowledge of Meta Tag usage in social media content.

  • Experience in managing Facebook Ads, including use of Facebook Ads Manager.

  • Proficiency in managing Google Ads, including use of Google Ad Manager and Google AdWords.

  • Ability to create and optimize social media content to drive engagement and conversions.

  • Strong understanding of how to use social media for brand awareness and engagement.

  • Familiarity with the latest trends and best practices in social media marketing.
