Robert Half Sr. Financial Analyst in Austin, Texas

Description

Our client, a dynamic software/SaaS firm, is currently seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to join their high-performing finance team. The chosen candidate is expected to provide substantive contributions to financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes with an emphasis on detail-orientated financial analysis and reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to detailed financial analyses and reporting, ensuring the delivery of insightful and actionable data to Management.

  • Offer substantive support in the financial forecasting, annual budgeting, and operating plan processes.

  • Develop, maintain, and review complex financial models, improving overall financial forecasting accuracy.

  • Ensure comprehensive compliance with US GAAP across all areas of financial reporting and accounting.

  • Collaborate with various internal stakeholders, guaranteeing the accuracy of financial data and reports.

  • Facilitate the monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes, while driving a focus on Financial Reporting Accruals.

  • Be the primary liaison for auditors, preparing and reviewing audit schedules and actively coordinating with them.

  • Provide ad-hoc financial analysis as required by Management.

    Requirements

  • Must have at least 3 years of experience in financially focused roles.

  • Proficiency in financial modeling and Excel, ideally with verification of skills through an Excel Boot Camp or similar advanced training.

  • Understand and apply the principles of Financial Reporting Accruals according to US GAAP.

  • The prior experience of working in a SaaS-based business environment is essential.

  • Demonstrable ability to multitask effectively within a fast-paced setting, maintaining a focus on continual process improvement.

  • Strong analytical acumen with an ability to solve complex problems strategically.

Nice to have:

  • Experience in Public Accounting is highly valued.

  • Ideally, the candidate will have more than 5 years of experience in their roles.
