Robert Half Sr. Supervisor - Fixed Asset in Austin, Texas

Description We are offering an exciting opportunity in our Austin, Texas office for a Sr. Supervisor - Fixed Asset. The role will involve managing a team dedicated to fixed asset processes within our industry. The successful candidate will be involved in various accounting functions, including asset management, auditing, and capitalization.

Key responsibilities:

• Supervise the fixed asset team, ensuring all asset management processes are executed efficiently and accurately.

• Maintain and manage accurate records of fixed assets in compliance with industry-standard accounting protocols.

• Regularly conduct audits and physical inventory assessments to verify the existence and condition of assets.

• Develop and analyze reports related to asset performance, depreciation, and capital expenditures.

• Collaborate with different teams to optimize processes and enhance the utilization of assets.

• Stay informed of industry trends and changes in regulations that may impact fixed asset processes.

• Ensure the correct recording and classification of fixed assets in line with accounting standards.

• Utilize accounting software systems and enterprise resource planning tools to effectively monitor and manage customer accounts.

• Leverage skills in accrual accounting and budget processes to manage and monitor capital expenditures.

• Use tools such as BlackLine and Crystal Reports to maintain accurate customer credit records and process credit applications. Requirements • Must have proficiency in Accounting Software Systems

• Demonstrable experience with Banner Ads is required

• Familiarity with BlackLine software

• Knowledge and experience using Crystal Reports

• Experience with ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning systems

• Understanding of Accounting Functions

• Accrual Accounting skills are necessary

• Previous experience in Auditing is desirable

• Familiarity with Budget Processes

• Knowledge of Capitalization in accounting context is required
