Robert Half Workday PM in Austin, Texas

Description We are offering a contract for a Workday PM position in Austin, Texas. The role involves managing various aspects of ERP projects, engaging with stakeholders, and ensuring the smooth transition to new ERP systems and processes.

Responsibilities:

• Lead all stages of ERP projects, from planning and execution to monitoring and closing, ensuring timely delivery within the set scope and budget.

• Work closely with stakeholders across different departments to gather project requirements, define goals, and align them with the organization's objectives.

• Efficient resource allocation, including project teams, budgets, and timelines, to ensure the success of the project.

• Actively identify, evaluate, and mitigate project risks to minimize their impact on project delivery and implement solutions proactively to address any arising issues.

• Develop and execute change management plans for smooth transition to new ERP systems and processes, ensuring effective communication and training for all stakeholders.

• Ensure all project deliverables meet high-quality standards and are in compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.

• Regularly update senior leadership on project status, including progress metrics and performance evaluations.

• Coordinate with ERP vendors to ensure project requirements are fulfilled and contractual obligations are met. Requirements • Proven experience in Workday ERP is mandatory.

• A strong background in Project Management is required.

• Must have a solid understanding of Workday ERP functionalities.

• Ability to lead Workday ERP implementation projects.

• Experience in managing stakeholders and leading teams.

• Should have the ability to plan, organize and manage resources to bring about the successful completion of specific project goals and objectives.

• Excellent problem-solving skills.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

• Adept at working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

• Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.

• Strong knowledge of project management tools and methodologies.

• Proven ability to manage all aspects of a project including planning, communication, scheduling, reporting and budgeting.

• Must be comfortable in liaising with all levels of management.

• Should be able to develop and maintain project documentation.

• Must be certified in Project Management.

• Familiarity with other ERP systems would be advantageous.

• A degree in Business Administration, IT, or related field is preferred. Technology Doesn't Change the World, People Do.®
