Description
Robert Half is partnering with a global dynamic finance company that is expanding and seeking a Senior Corporate Counsel to join its legal team in its Aventura headquarters. This attorney will report into the General Counsel and will have 5+ years’ experience leading mergers and acquisitions and managing corporate finance matters. Position is 100% on-site with a business casual, collaborative office environment. Base salary up to $285,000 plus bonus, long-term incentive plan, 401k matching and a rich benefit plan. Requirements:
Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
Member of the Florida Bar or authorized in house counsel in FL.
At least 5-7 years of M& A experience working in the legal department of a mid-sized or large organization or working in the corporate department of a mid-sized or large law firm.
Experience negotiating and managing bank and mezzanine credit facilities comprising corporate funding debt.
Must have significant experience as the lead attorney on complex transactions.
Strong negotiation and contract drafting skills.
Excellent organizational skills and time management skills.
Must be able to work on-site, local candidates preferred.
