Description
We are offering a contract to permanent employment opportunity for a Full Charge Bookkeeper for a leading timber industry client. This role will involve general ledger work, financial statement preparation, and cleaning up of outstanding invoices in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Responsibilities:
• Work proficiently in QuickBooks to manage financial records
• Conduct general ledger work to ensure accurate financial information
• Prepare financial statements including cash flow statements
• Manage backlog of tasks and clean up outstanding invoices
• Monitor customer credit accounts and take appropriate action to collect delinquent payments
• Process customer credit applications accurately and efficiently
• Maintain accurate customer credit records
• Resolve customer credit inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
Requirements
• Proficiency in QuickBooks is essential for this role.
• Experience in producing Cash Flow Statements is required.
• Ability to create and manage invoices effectively.
• Must have a solid understanding of financial and accounting principles.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Must have a high degree of integrity and confidentiality.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically are necessary.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
• Previous experience in a similar role is preferred.
• A minimum of a bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field is required.
