Robert Half Full Charge Bookkeeper in Avon, Ohio

Description

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Full Charge Bookkeeper to join our client out of Avon OH. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of the company's financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, financial reporting, month-end and year-end close processes, financial transactions, payroll, reporting, cash receipts, documentation, and cost records. This is a direct hire position, fully on site.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, including processing invoices, issuing payments, and reconciling accounts.

  • Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, including general ledger entries, bank reconciliations, and trial balances.

  • Perform month-end and year-end close procedures, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.

  • Process payroll, including calculating employee hours, preparing payroll checks, and submitting payroll taxes.

  • Generate financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements, to provide insights into the company's financial performance.

  • Monitor cash receipts and deposits, ensuring proper recording and reconciliation.

  • Maintain documentation of financial transactions, ensuring compliance with company policies and accounting standards.

  • Prepare and analyze cost records to identify areas for cost savings and efficiency improvements.

  • Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes to support strategic financial planning.

  • Collaborate with internal teams to provide financial insights and support decision-making processes.

  • Stay updated on industry trends and regulatory changes to ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations.

  • Provide support during financial audits, including preparing audit schedules and responding to auditor inquiries.

    Requirements

Requirements:

  • Associate’s Degree in Business Administration or Accounting Preferred but not necessary

  • 5+ years experience in accounting/finance

  • Experience with financial reporting requirements
