Description
We are looking for a meticulous Tax Preparer to join our team in Bainbridge Island, Washington. This role involves assisting in responding to client emails related to taxes, creating files, running reports, handling basic client questions, etc.
Responsibilities:
• Assisting with client emails related to taxes and addressing their inquiries
• Creating and managing files for each client
• Running reports using Ultra Tax/CS software
• Handling basic client questions and providing informative responses
• Processing client payments
• Collaborating with the team to ensure the smooth running of operations
• Maintaining an up-to-date knowledge of tax laws and regulations
• Utilizing Microsoft Excel and other tools for data management and analysis
Requirements
Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
5+ years of previous experience in a CPA firm.
Familiarity with Ultra Tax/CS is a plus.
Strong communication and organizational skills.
High level of professionalism when interacting with clients.
Ability to handle sensitive information confidentially.
