Description We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity in the Financial Services industry based in Bakersfield, California. The position is for an Insurance Verification Clerk who will be responsible for providing excellent customer service and maintaining accurate customer records. This role involves processing customer applications, monitoring customer accounts, and resolving customer inquiries.
Responsibilities
• Handle customer inquiries and provide accurate information
• Process customer credit applications with precision and efficiency
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer credit records
• Stay calm and professional when handling challenging or upset customers
• Use available resources to research and resolve moderately complex issues
• Monitor customer accounts and take necessary action based on account status
• Provide assistance and support to team members as needed
• Stay informed and keep the supervisor updated on complex or significant issues that may impact other areas
• Maintain a professional and helpful demeanor towards all customers
• Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

• Proficiency in Claims Processing and Medical Claims. Requirements • Minimum of 2 years experience in a similar role within the financial services industry
• Proficiency in claims processing and handling of medical claims
• Strong understanding of insurance verification processes and procedures
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
• Ability to interpret and understand insurance policies and coverage
• Knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and standards in the financial services industry
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle complex insurance issues
• Excellent customer service skills and the ability to respond to inquiries in a timely manner
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
• High level of professionalism and ethical standards
• Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
• Willingness to stay updated with industry trends and developments
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration or related field is preferred.
