Description
We are offering an opportunity based in Bakersfield, California. In this role, you will be expected to conduct audits, prepare financial statements, and provide financial planning services. You will also communicate audit findings and implement changes in operations and financial activities to ensure adherence to legal regulations and corporate policies.
Responsibilities:
• Conducting audits to ensure compliance with legal regulations and corporate policies
• Preparing and analyzing financial statements and reports
• Calculating taxes owed, preparing tax returns, and ensuring prompt and accurate tax payments
• Inspecting account books for efficiency and use of accepted accounting procedures
• Evaluating financial operations to recommend best-practices, identify issues, and strategize solutions
• Providing financial planning services, including investment advice, budget development, and financial forecasting
• Assisting clients in financial management and expense planning
• Staying updated with changes in regulatory legislation and guidelines in accounting
• Communicating audit findings and recommending changes in operations and financial activities
• Utilizing accounting software systems, audit programs, and other necessary skills such as CaseWare, CCH ProSystem Fx, CobiT, and auditing functions for efficient work output.n
Requirements • Must have a minimum of 3 years experience in auditing.
• Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems is essential.
• Familiarity with Audit Program is required.
• Experience with CaseWare software is a plus.
• Knowledge of CCH ProSystem Fx is beneficial.
• Must be well-versed in CobiT.
• Proficiency in various accounting functions is necessary.
• Experience in handling audit engagements is required.
• Ability to effectively communicate audit findings.
• Experience in creating and implementing audit plans.
