Robert Half IT Manager in Ball Ground, Georgia

Description We are offering an opportunity for an IT Manager to join our team located in Ball Ground, Georgia. This role involves overseeing and ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our company's computer systems. The job function will be on-site at our corporate office and will require managing a small IT staff, ensuring the security of data, network access, and backup systems, and working with various external partners.

Responsibilities:

• Managing information technology and computer systems to ensure operational efficiency

• Supervising a small IT team to facilitate the implementation and maintenance of the company's information technology needs

• Ensuring the security of data, network access, and backup systems to protect company information

• Collaborating with our external network consulting firm to manage downtime to a minimum

• Interacting with our ERP software provider to manage open support tickets and projects

• Creating and implementing the organization's IT policy and best practice manuals to maintain consistency and efficiency

• Conducting routine evaluations of network and data security to identify any potential threats or breaches

• Organizing and establishing deadlines for major IT projects such as system upgrades, migrations, etc.

• Maintaining business continuity plans and cyber security incident response procedures to prepare for any potential disruptions

• Providing security awareness training for all employees to ensure everyone is informed about best practices for maintaining security. Requirements • Proven experience as an IT Manager, with a minimum of 7 years in the field

• Proficiency in Cisco Technologies

• Comprehensive understanding of Cloud Technologies

• Experience with Database management and operations

• Familiarity with EO/IR systems

• Knowledge and experience in ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning

• Proficiency in Active Directory

• Experience with Backup Technologies

• Proficient in Computer Hardware operations and management

• Knowledge in Configuration Management

• Experience in Contracts management and negotiation

• Ability to manage and lead a team, demonstrating strong leadership skills

• Excellent problem-solving skills and a strategic mindset

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously
