Description

We are offering a long term contract employment opportunity for an Accounting Clerk, based in Baltimore, Maryland. As an Accounting Clerk, you will be tasked with maintaining financial records, processing cash receipts, and conducting data entry tasks with a keen eye for detail.

Responsibilities:

• Handle the accurate and efficient processing of customer credit applications

• Maintain precise records of customer credit

• Resolve customer inquiries in a timely and efficient manner

• Monitor customer accounts and initiate appropriate actions when necessary

• Import financial data for analysis and review

• Conduct regular data entry tasks with a high level of accuracy

• Prepare, match, and record bank deposits on a daily basis

• Perform journal entries for record-keeping purposes

• Review and verify receipts data for accuracy

• Match cash receipts to weekly reports for financial tracking.

Requirements

• Proficiency in Data Entry tasks is required, with an emphasis on speed and accuracy.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is mandatory

• Experience in handling Daily Cash Receipts, including recording and verifying transactions.

• Familiarity with Bank Deposit procedures, ensuring secure and timely transactions.

• Demonstrated ability to conduct Daily Bank Deposits, maintaining a consistent cash flow.

• Proven experience in preparing Bank Deposits, with attention to detail to avoid errors.

• Proficiency in preparing and adjusting Journal Entries, ensuring accurate record keeping.

• Experience with accounting software is preferred.
