Robert Half Accounts Receivable Specialist in Baltimore, Maryland

Description We are on the hunt for a meticulous Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our team in Baltimore, Maryland. This role involves working closely with multiple departments in a dynamic, collaborative environment. You will be responsible for managing accounts receivable, reconciling vendor accounts, and resolving billing and invoice discrepancies. This position offers a short-term contract employment opportunity.


• Accurately and efficiently process customer credit applications

• Maintain precise records of customer credit accounts

• Monitor customer credit accounts and undertake appropriate actions to collect delinquent payments

• Handle accounts receivable functions including invoicing, collections, and account reconciliations

• Work with Salesforce and other accounting systems to manage accounts receivable

• Reconcile vendor accounts and balance sheet accounts on a monthly basis

• Resolve billing and invoice discrepancies in a timely manner

• Handle B2B collections while ensuring compliance with relevant policies

• Process and code invoices, and enter them into the accounting system

• Collaborate with project and customer service clients to maximize results. Requirements • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Excel Formulas

• Experience with Accounts Receivable (AR) and Accounts receivables systems

• Familiarity with Salesforce Platform and Accounting Systems

• Knowledge of Accounting services, Cash Collections, and Collections

• Experience in Commercial Collections, B2B collections, and Collections management

• Understanding of Vendor Account, Account Reconciliation, and Balance Sheet Account Reconciliation

• Ability to perform Ledger Account Reconciliation and Monthly Account Reconciliation

• Experience in Resolving Billing, Claim, Issues, and Errors

• Ability to handle Account Discrepancies and Invoice Discrepancies

• Proficient in Invoice Processing, Approved Invoices, and Code Invoices

• Experience in Coding Invoices, Customer Invoices, and Enter Invoices

• Knowledge of Invoice, Invoice Coding, and Invoice Entry

• Ability to perform Invoice reconciliation, and handle Manual Invoices

• Experience in managing Monthly Invoices, Outstanding Invoices, and Review Invoices
